Meet Liz!
Job Title: Manager of Holiday Lets – I take the bookings and help guests with anything they might need for their break away.
How long have you worked for Lakes Edge? Just over a year
Favourite place on the estate? The swing seat looking over the big lake, during golden hour it’s magic.
Favourite place to eat locally? If it’s an occasion – Pensons, I went for my 30th birthday and it was probably the best meal I’ve ever eaten, start to finish it was incredible.
If it’s lunch or something more chilled; CSons in Ludlow. Throughout the latest lockdown they’ve been open for takeaway, their CSons burger is excellent and the side of roast potatoes with aioli were a stroke of genius.
Where is the best place to grab breakfast on the go? The Drapers Lane Deli, I love their pain au chocolat.
What do you wish people knew about the area? If people branched out and did a bit of exploring there is so much going on in the local area. Ludlow is really foodie, the festival in September is one of my favourite events of the whole year. Hereford has been under development for years, adding lots of great shops and restaurants in the city centre but also lots of places are springing up like Viking Games which is definitely worth a visit!
Little known fact about me: I can’t stand mushrooms, I tell people I’m allergic but really I just hate them so much I don’t want them to be anywhere near me. Yuck!
